Cheer Curls® brand hairpieces are created from the highest quality synthetic fibers available. Our manufacturer and designers produce wigs and hairpieces for the most respected brands in the hairpiece industry. We use only 100% Modacrylic fiber in our hairpieces. The Modacrylic fiber that we use, specifically, are Kanekalon and a Kanekalon / Toyakalon blend ( depending on the style and use of the hairpiece ) in our products.
Example: Kanekalon is a very smooth fiber. When used in straight hairpieces, it looks very natural. However, when used in a curly style, it is not firm enough to sufficiently hold a ringlet. Kanekalon is extremely soft and fine-textured.
Our designers created a special fiber blend which combines Kanekalon with Toyakalon. This blend helps to hold the curl in a permanent ringlet.
Every Cheer Curls® brand hairpiece contains a sewn-in cloth label which displays our company name and the fiber content.
The edges of our caps are fully wefted. While our hairpieces are fully expandable and can be attached like any drawstring hairpiece, we only recommend and endorse the "sew-on" attachment method for competitive cheerleaders. It is the most secure method of attachment we have found.
